These stock Marklin Northern Pacific steam
engines have Marlin couplers.
The Marklin
couplers on the pilot kept
uncoupling so I
super-glued the lead tender and
the rear
engine's couplers together.
They don't
come uncoupled anymore! I
bought all my
steam engines (NP and Burlington)
on Ebay from broken-up sets.
BTW, Andy Hunting laid this curve
"super
elevated" with flex track.
This is one of the
clubs end modules. The
other one has a
mountain hiding the curve.
The top is 2"
foam mounted on plywood with
plaster cloth
as a scenery base on top of the
foam. You
can see the white cloth next to
the cork
roadbed where the scenery is not
yet
finished. tomg
