Z Modules, Monroe, WA

This is Tom's other 4' module.  The grain
elevator is bashed from the Z scale kit and
the Walthers N scale expansion elevator silo
kit cut down by about 30%.  The blue "Butler
Buildings" are also N scale kits cut to make them
about 30% shorter.  I think they are made by
RIX.  The container yard base is made of IBL
double track cork cut to about 2" long, then
spray painted grey.  I then mounted them to the
foam using a foam-safe cement and used
Woodland Scenics foam putty to fill in the cracks
and "stain" the asphalt.  None of the buildings are
mounted permanently.  They just either sit on pads
or are sitting in areas cut in the plaster cloth
covering over the foam base.  The module looks wider than 2' because there is a 1' x 2' extension where they grain elevator sits.  There are only 6 switches on this module...most of them are on the 6'
module on the right of this picture.    tomg
